Bloukrans Bungy offers a 216-metre jump from the Bloukrans River Bridge in the Tsitsikamma. The experience includes the walk out onto the bridge before the bungy itself, with no previous jumping experience required.
Bloukrans Bungy is one of the Garden Route’s best-known adventure experiences, operating from the Bloukrans River Bridge on the N2 in the Tsitsikamma. The jump takes place from a platform beneath the bridge, reached via the suspended walkway that carries participants out above the gorge.
The bungy itself is 216 metres, and the operator does not require previous experience or certification. Jumpers must be at least 14 years old and weigh between 35 kg and 150 kg.
Allow around an hour for the bungy experience and plan to arrive at least one hour before your scheduled jump. Bloukrans Bungy operates throughout the year, with jumps suspended during gale-force winds and thunderstorms.
