The Kloof Corner Hike is one of Cape Town’s best short hikes, offering an outstanding reward for relatively little effort. Starting from Kloof Nek, the trail climbs a series of stone steps to the famous Kloof Corner viewpoint, where panoramic views stretch across the City Bowl, Lion’s Head, Camps Bay, Table Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
Although the hike is short, the steady ascent quickly gains elevation, making it an excellent choice for sunrise, sunset or anyone wanting spectacular scenery without committing to a full Table Mountain summit. Its accessibility and incredible views have made Kloof Corner one of the city’s most popular hiking destinations.
