Cool Runnings Toboggan Park in Tygervalley is home to Africa’s first downhill tobogganing track. Riders control their own speed as the toboggan follows a steel track through a series of twists, turns and drops.
The ride combines the feel of a traditional toboggan run with the control of a track-based descent. Each rider sets their own pace, making it possible to take the descent more gently or let the toboggan pick up speed.
Located in Tygervalley, Bellville, Cool Runnings is an easy activity to combine with a day in Cape Town’s northern suburbs and works particularly well as a family outing or a shorter activity between other stops.
