Walker Bay Adventures has been putting kayaks in the water at the Hermanus Old Harbour since 1999. The trip runs two hours in total, of which about ninety minutes is paddling once the briefing is done, on sit-on-top kayaks that are difficult to get wrong. No experience is needed. Departure times shift with the season, and between June and November you are paddling inside a whale sanctuary in whale season.
