Golden Triangle Wines
Cavalli’s vineyards lie in Stellenbosch’s Golden Triangle, where cooling False Bay winds and decomposed granite soils support freshness, expressive fruit and elegant structure. The portfolio focuses on Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Verdelho and carefully composed blends.
Architecture, Art and Sustainability
The public building houses the restaurant, tasting room, gallery and boutique beneath one distinctive contemporary roof. Indigenous landscaping, solar energy, water recycling and passive environmental systems reflect Cavalli’s wider sustainability focus.
Cavalli Restaurant
The restaurant overlooks the dam and Helderberg, serving a seasonal chef’s menu built around fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients. Lunch is offered Wednesday to Sunday, with dinner from Wednesday to Saturday.
Visiting the Estate
The tasting room opens Wednesday to Sunday, and tastings are served on a first-come basis. Groups should arrange their visit in advance, while restaurant reservations are essential. Leave time to browse the changing gallery exhibition after tasting.
