The Racket + Ball Club on Bree Street brought padel into the middle of the city. Four indoor courts sit alongside a gym and stretch zone, the SHOTT restaurant and bar, a pro shop and a private deck, and courts are bookable by anyone through Playtomic without a membership. For anyone staying longer there is a two month tourist membership, which is unusual enough in Cape Town fitness to be worth knowing about. Coaching runs from beginner group lessons to high performance squads, and the club is family and pet friendly.
