Nikkei takes its name from the Japanese community in Peru and the cooking that came out of it, and the kitchen describes itself as a marriage between Japanese mastery and Peruvian gastronomy. It sits on Bree Street above its sister restaurant Yatai, with a set menu alongside the a la carte and a private balcony for groups. It takes bookings and welcomes walk-ins, which between them make it one of the easier city-centre tables to get on the night.
