Long Street Baths is the City of Cape Town’s indoor swimming pool in the middle of the city, listed by the City as Long Street Indoor Swimming Pool. There is a 25 metre main pool and a kiddies’ pool, with change rooms, showers and lifeguards on duty. It is one of only a handful of City pools that stay open all year, and entry is on a day pass with no membership, which makes it the most practical place in the city centre to swim lengths in any weather. Tuesday mornings are reserved for women.
