Alila Yoga sells three kinds of single visit: a yoga class on its own, a yoga class with sauna and cold plunge afterwards, and a sauna and plunge session without a class. No membership is needed, but everything has to be reserved in advance on the studio's schedule.
Alila Yoga is on Westerford Way in Hout Bay, and it is built around two things that usually live in different buildings: a yoga studio and a wet terrace with a sauna and cold plunge.
That shapes how it sells access. A dry drop-in covers the yoga class alone. A wet drop-in covers the same class plus sauna and cold plunge afterwards, with nothing extra to arrange on the day. And the sauna and plunge can be used on their own, without a class, as a single unguided session.
None of it requires a membership, but all of it requires a reservation. Yoga classes are reserved on the studio's own schedule, and sauna or plunge visits taken without a class must be booked separately. Turning up unannounced is the one thing that will not work here.
Classes run from early morning through to the evening, and the schedule pairs each yoga slot with a sauna and plunge slot an hour later, so the two are designed to be taken back to back.
The studio also runs workshops and private hires, arranged directly rather than through the schedule.
