The club runs a public visitor tee sheet from its own site, showing a fortnight of dates and rates with no account needed. There is also a find and pay tab for retrieving a booking you have already made.
One thing to know before you look: the rate card is published only as a picture, with no readable text behind it, so it will not scale or read aloud on a phone. Open the fees page on a larger screen before you travel.

The course
Eighteen holes, par 72, between the Hottentots-Holland range and the shores of False Bay. Three tee sets are published in metres: yellow at 5,997, white at 5,606 and red at 4,977. Short and walkable by modern standards.
Water and wind carry the round. The Lourens River runs down the left of the par-5 2nd and crosses in front of the 9th green, a dam guards both the 10th and the 18th, and the club repeatedly names the prevailing south-easter as a club-selection factor. It finishes with two signature holes back to back: a par-3 17th where water stretches from tee to green, and a genuine three-shot par-5 18th with the dam right and in front.
Playing Strand Golf Club as a visitor
Green fees are published for visitors and, separately and higher, for non-affiliated visitors, at both eighteen and nine holes, with a standard tour operator rate alongside them. A twilight nine-hole rate starts after four in the afternoon and there is a Monday pensioner rate for players over sixty.
A caddie flat rate, a visitor golf cart rate and pull trolleys are all published. The club states plainly that it is a cashless business.
Practice, and what is on site
There is a driving range on site with published hours: eight to five from May to September, and seven to six from October to April, closing an hour earlier at weekends and on public holidays. Coaching runs through the Helderberg Golf Academy, and there is a pro shop, a halfway house with a published menu, and a clubhouse restaurant and bar.
