The menu item labelled Bookings goes to a general contact form. There is no date field, no tee-slot picker and no availability calendar anywhere on the site, so a submitted form is a request the club replies to rather than a confirmed time. Phone if your date is tight.
Affiliation is the other thing to sort out before you arrive. The rate card separates associated golfers from non-associated ones and the gap is material, so carry proof of your home-club affiliation. A water levy is added per round and stated as included in the published figures.

The course
Eighteen holes on what the club describes as a recently re-designed layout that provides a balance between a challenging round and playability for all. Nine-hole green fees are published alongside eighteen, so a shorter round is a priced option rather than an improvisation.
Playing Somerset West Golf Club as a visitor
The club is unusually explicit about welcoming outsiders. Its course page addresses first-timers and regular visitors from another country, province or club directly, and its rate card carries associated and non-associated bands alongside member and member’s guest rates, each split into adults, students and juniors.
Caddie fees and visitor golf cart hire are both published. Club hire is not, so bring or arrange clubs.
Practice and coaching
The driving range has been recently improved, with covered bays and FlightScope launch monitor technology. Two PGA professionals work on site, a head professional and a head coach, and both offer lessons.
