The tee sheet is searchable without an account, so you can see what is open before committing to anything. The platform states that registering and logging in makes you eligible for better personal rates and preferred tee times.
What the club does not publish anywhere is a rate card. Green fees appear only inside the booking system once you have chosen a date, so there is no way to price a round in advance from the website.

The course
Conceived by Nicklaus Design with, in the club’s words, extensive input from Jack Nicklaus himself, the course opened in November 2003 in the Paarl and Franschhoek valley. Mountains stand on every side, with the Simonsberg behind.
The routing is built around the wind. The club points out that all the par threes and par fives play in different directions, so a north-westerly in winter or a south-easterly in summer will never sit in the same place twice. Water and bunkering carry most of the defence. A tree still stands in the middle of the 14th fairway: it was never meant to be there, but after much debate Nicklaus chose to leave it, liking what it gave the hole.
Four tee sets are named: championship at 6,749 metres, blue club tees at 5,878, senior and ladies championship at 5,586, and ladies at 4,935.
Playing Pearl Valley as a visitor
Book through the non-member reservation route, by email to the golf shop or by phone. Reservations run up to three months ahead and are finalised only once payment is completed.
Published tee-off windows run eighteen holes from half past seven to two in summer and from eight to one in winter, with nine-hole windows after that. The club asks players to check in at the golf shop thirty minutes before tee-off.
There is a dress code: no jeans, camouflage or cargo trousers on the golf course.
What is on site
A practice green sits next to the first hole with complimentary access before your tee time, and the Pearl Valley Golf Academy runs on site with three PGA professionals. The golf shop rents sets of clubs.
Locker rooms come with towels and secure lockers, and The Valley Restaurant is at the clubhouse. The wider estate carries a hotel, a spa, a pool, restaurants and a coffee roastery, and the Franschhoek wine farms are a short drive away.
